Helicopter Twirls Wildly into Palm Trees at Well-Known Southern California Beach
A helicopter soaring over a popular coastal beach abruptly commenced twirling wildly, finally dropping height and plunging into a cluster of palm fronds as beachgoers looked on.
Footage shared online depict the aircraft commencing to spiral above the beach then falling near the edge of the coast, where it becomes wedged between palms and a staircase close to the coastal road.
Emergency Response Information
Local firefighters reported five persons were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the incident on that day.
Three people on the pavement were injured. Specifics on their injuries were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.

Authorities said the aircraft was linked to an annual “Cars N Copters” benefit occasion scheduled for the next day.
